Concentrated Drawing

We're back after the Christmas holidays!  To kick off this new session, we started with a day of concentrated drawing.  The first and last group looked at toy animals.  This camel is actually a really good
copy of the stylised toy.

The first group also painted a fantastical animal, like the one above.

We also tried out different media and papers to see what different effects we could get, using oil pastel like for the sheep above, watercolour and charcoal.

The middle group tried their hand at drawing a still life scene from different angles.  This watercolour above shows the tin kettle and an apple, part of the overall view.
